General

The curriculum of the undergraduate program in Food Science and Technology covers 10 semesters of studies. It includes theoretical courses (lecturing and tutoring in problem solving) and practicals (laboratory work). Students are also required to complete a Diploma Thesis and a 6-month Internship in food production industries, quality control labs, research institutes or food-related public agencies. It is possible to carry out the work related to the Diploma Thesis and/or the Internship in academic or industrial institutions of the European Union within the framework of a European or other student-exchange program (e.g. Erasmus+).
